Joel Chernoff, is the founder, the composer and lead singer of “Lamb”, the contemporary music group that pioneered the sound that today has become known as Messianic Praise and Worship. With record labels such as Sparrow and Maranatha, the music of Lamb sold nearly 600,000 units over a span of 12 recordings.

Beside recording and singing for the Messiah, Joel is a well known international speaker and is currently Vice President of the International Messianic Jewish Alliance as well as General Secretary of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA). The International Messianic Jewish Alliance is the largest affiliation of Messianic Jews in the world today with 18 national member alliances as well as the largest organized expression of the Jewish revival. The MJAA is the largest of the 18 national Alliances. In his role as General Secretary of the MJAA Joel is responsible for moving over $70 million worth of humanitarian aid to Israel as well as Ethiopia.
